The Han were known for developing the silk road, ancient trading routes created to allow traders to share their goods and missionaries to share their ideas and religion. The founder of the Han dynasty, Liu Bang also known as emperor GaoZu. One of his first orders were to stop the book burning and broadened the religion, Confucianism.

Emperor Gaozu, given name Liu Bang, founded the Han Dynasty in 206 BCE and declared himself to Emperor in 202 BC. He was known as being the first emperor of China to be classified of peasant class. He was an outstanding politician, director and strategist, he sculpted China's religion and stood by and developed Confucianism. The religion gained many more adherents since Emperor Gaozu was against the law of burning books the Qin developed. Therefore he stopped the action of burying scholars, burning books and let Confucianists continue writing history without any obstacles. Emperor Gauzu's successor was Liu Ying, his second son and child of Empress Lü Zhi.

What was the main way trade was made during the Han Dynasty?
Trade during the Han dynasty started in the early western on the silk road, this is when the silk road started to develop. By the end of the Han dynasty the silk road had been used and was full made it went through China, Persia, Greece, Rome, Arabia and India. This trade system did not only exchange goods they shared their culture and connected many countries.The silk road was also a number of Sea trade routes used by navigators to go into the south indies and into Africa and West Asia. The trade routes went as far as Egypt and Somalia.
