The Civil War was a war which lasted from 1927-1950. There was conflict between the Communist Party (CCP) and the Nationalist Kuomintang (KMT). Because of different ideas, the Civil War exploded. There are events that happened during the Civil War such as The Long March and World War II.
This was the third largest war following after World War I and World War II.

The Chinese civil war started in 1927 with the Shanghai Massacre and the collapse of the First United Front. Chiang Kai -shek decided to get rid of the CPC, Kuomintang killed and arrested many CPC leaders. Mao Zedong led an uprising against the Kuomintang called the Autumn Harvest Uprising, the uprising failed but the civil war had begun.
